Overpopulation: Too Much of Anything Can Get Too Bad

All efforts for sustainable growth and development are only efforts worth making if there exists a population to be impacted with their progress. It is this importance of a stable and healthy populace that is celebrated on July 11, the World Population Day as declared by the UNGA in 1989. The demographic composition is not the only point of importance to this awareness method; it aims to highlight the issues that impact the population and their relation to development and the environment.
